Concept AITV | Layer 层峦叠嶂

在 AITV 的设计过程中，我们始终面临一个核心挑战：如何在内部结构堆叠高度较大的限制下，让产品在视觉上显得更加轻薄。

During the design of AITV, one of our key challenges was how to make the product appear slimmer and lighter despite the constraints imposed by a substantial internal component stack.

为了解决这一问题，我想到了“Layer | 层峦叠嶂”设计概念，通过多层次的视觉元素对厚重的产品侧面进行分割，打破整体轮廓的厚重感，从而在视觉上实现减薄效果。

To address this challenge, I introduced the Layer design concept, using a series of layered visual elements to segment the product’s thick side profile. This approach broke up the visual mass of the overall form, creating a slimmer, lighter appearance.

Layer 的价值不仅在于视觉表达，也在于功能与形式的整合。不同层次可以通过调整长宽比例形成差异化的形态，并承载相应的功能，在保持整体简约的同时提升设计效率。此外，我还将层与层之间的缝隙转化为功能空间，用于布置指示灯与按键，进一步拓展 Layer 概念的应用，让视觉语言、功能布局与产品结构形成统一。

The value of the Layer concept extended beyond visual expression to the integration of form and function. By adjusting the proportions of each layer, I could create distinct forms while assigning specific functions to them, maintaining an overall minimalist aesthetic without compromising functionality. I also transformed the gaps between layers into functional spaces for indicators and buttons, further extending the concept and bringing the visual language, functional layout, and product structure together into a cohesive design.
